I always wonder how many emails from businesses people really read. What are hte things you do to increase the odds of your emails really being read?

You can make sure to tailor the e-mail using their name, company name, and add a few words that may be of interest to them. You should also send individual e-mails to recipients versus sending them to multiple addresses on your list at once. There is no guarantee that they will be read, but your chances increase by using these methods.

This is exactly the question filling minds of webmasters who begin using email marketing, whether or not the recipients will actually take the time to review the ads, information provided for them and make click on the commercial links.

Sending direct emails to the potential customers, one person at a time, seems like a workable solution because when you address readers with their actual names and create custom messages, the chances of reading messages will go higher.

Have a catchy subject line so they do not get deleted right away. And the first sentence is crucial as well. Make it interesting and fun to read and people will want to do this.

This is always the difficult thing when sending emails, trying to keep the email interesting or even getting them to be interested enough to read it in the first place. Having a catchy subject as mentioned above is a brilliant way to start, making the title and the subject sound interesting and not too good to be true would also be a great pointer. Keep the actual email interesting from the start and make sure you allow them to see what your email is about and how it will interest them right at the beginning to keep them reading.

If your emails are going into the spam bin first, there is zero percent chance they will get read. Be sure to ask your subscribers to whitelist your emails from your domain to ensure they end up in the inbox.
